
Process
All Coastal Nuts cashews are processed at our state of the art BRC accredited facility in Mtwara, southern Tanzania.
The cashews undergo a rigorous process to ensure we supply the best quality cashew kernels time after time whilst always adhering to the most stringent global standards.

Steaming and Shelling
Once the shelled cashews arrive at our facility, they first enter into a meticulous calibration, steaming and shelling process

Drying and Peeling
The cashews are dried to make them as crunchy as possible, then peeled to remove the cashew nut from the shell

Sorting and Grading
The cashew nut kernels are sorted and graded to ensure you receive the best quality and the grade you have requested

Fumigation and Packing
The cashew nuts are fumigated (on request), vacuum packed to ensure freshness and finally pass a metal detector before shipping
